Mike Bauer grew up in Keizer, Oregon, where he attended McNary High School and Chemeketa Community College Fire Science and Paramedic Programs.

Mike has a long history of community service. He started as a volunteer with Keizer Fire District in 1999 and was eventually hired as a career employee in 2003. Mike was also elected as a Keizer Fire Board member serving three years in that capacity.

While attending Chemeketa Community College, he met his wife, Alison. Together they have two children, Jude and Quinn, who live in the Brooks area. He and his family enjoy camping, fishing, and hiking.

Today Mike works as a Captain with Clackamas County Fire District 1.

Mike joined our organization in 2019 to serve on the Board of Directors. He felt the desire to give back to the community and thought that his previous experience with the Keizer Fire District at the board level would be helpful.
