MCFD No. 1 provides emergency services to over 60,000 residents in 88 square miles of unincorporated residential, commercial, and agricultural property bordering the cities of Salem, Oregon, and Keizer, Oregon.

Fire | EMS | Rescue | Wildfire
The Marion County Fire District No. 1 is not part of the city of Salem or Marion County but is an independent “special service district” and is a combination agency supported by career and volunteer personnel. We provide Fire, EMS, and emergency services to residents who are in unincorporated Marion County.

Becuase 80% of our calls involve a medical situation, all of our Career personnel are either Firefighter-EMT-Paramedics or Single Role EMT-Paramedics
